During the meeting, Trump called the Apple CEO “Tim Apple” two times.

Tim Cook, who sat at Trump’s right hand, didn’t consider it as an issue and rapidly change his name of the Twitter account into the last name and an apple symbol with a bite – the logo of the company. Ivanka Trump sitting at the US President’s left hand laughed the incident off.

According to Jonathan Swan from the Axios, in the beginning, Trump confirmed that he had said “Tim Cook.”

Also in Swan’s report on March 10, when the US President held a night entertainment to welcome donors to his Mar-a-Lago resort on March 08, he explained that he had referred to Tim Cook as “Tim Cook Apple”, not “Tim Apple.” However, the “Cook” sound was silently pronounced. That’s why the audience couldn’t hear it.

The next part, of course, Trump continued running his favourite strategy: considered the miscall as a piece of “Fake news.”Social Media Trolls Us President Donald Trump For

One day later, the President seemed to change his mind. In his new story updated on Twitter, Trump admitted that he said “Tim Apple” as a way to avoid wasting time.
