It is said that it has taken much time to prepare for the launch of the Galaxy Home. Up to now, the release window has been revealed. According to The Korea Herald, it is within the 3rd quarter of 2019, said Hyun-suk Kim – Samsung CEO.

The time of 2019’s Q3 also was unveiled by other executives of Samsung.

The first announcement about the Galaxy Home was in August last year, at the same time of Note 9’s launch. However, although it was showcased in a large number of events, Samsung has not launched it yet. It made many people worried as Samsung broke its promise that the Bixby smart speaker would ship in April.
Missing April, Samsung representatives promised in May that the launch date of Galaxy Home would fall in the first half of this year, according to The Verge. It means that the speaker will be released before July. However, Kim’s statement makes people doubt whether Samsung will be in time to do the plan or not.
The last day of Samsung’s Q3 is on 30th September. It means that the launch of the Galaxy Home is by then in case of no more delays. There will be many chances for the company to conduct the launch such as in the Galaxy Note 10’s event in August and September’s IFA 2019. It is likely that the speaker will not be released alone as it is said that the FCC has recently passed Galaxy Home Mini which is smaller than the original one. It is Samsung’s plan that the smart speaker with a variety of sizes will be sold when it finally ships.
