According to a recent report, the value of Uber in its upcoming publicly initial offering can be more than one hundred billion US Dollar.
Earlier this month, Dara Khosrowshahi, CEO of Uber from last year, announced his plan of making Uber ubiquitous in every corner of the world. Later, a post on Wall Street Journal stated that Wall Street banks have proposed the value of $120 billion for the upcoming IPO. This proposal also mentioned that the offering can be in place in the first few months of 2019.
Dara Khosrowshahi also added that Uber was on track for a 2019 IPO, after Lyft's. The earlier IPO of Lyft is not his concern because he expected there would be enough demand for both.
Uber and Lyft have made every single effort so as to get more drivers and start business in new markets as both of them have experienced a lot of challenges in the past few years.
According to Uber, the company now has 15 million daily rides and food deliveries. Their service also presents in about 70 nations.
However, Uber refused to give any comment on this news. Maybe the only thing we can do now is waiting until 2019 to know whether this IPO worth $120 billion or not.
