Since about two weeks ago, Tesla has officially applied the discounted prices for its three electric car lineups including Model S, Model 3, and Model X. However, on March 11, the company changed its mind and announced that it would increase the prices for these cars once again.

In its official blog, Tesla wrote a post saying that the Model 3, which was sold for $35,000, will be shipped to the customers at the unchangeable price. In addition to the Model X and Model S, some other premium models will be adjusted their prices to a higher level. The new prices will come into effects on March 18.

The company added, "all sales worldwide will still be done online," however, it still keeps some retail stores open to serve the inventory storage and test drives.
A lot of Tesla employees got a shock when knowing that their company would shut down retail stores to shift to online stores. Even one employee said, “It feels like a morgue.”
