This piece of news came after the state government partially lift the lockdown ban on the manufacturing industry.
According to Samsung India, the company will soon continue producing smartphones at the Noida factory. This piece of news came after the state government partially lift the lockdown ban on the manufacturing industry and gave permission to Samsung for smartphone production.
Having said that, the company will have to follow social distancing as well as other hygiene measures for the safety and well-being of both employees and the community. These healthcare priorities should remain throughout the pandemic time with the aid of government guidelines.
As reported by IANS, Samsung is planning to fulfill 30% of its workforce in the nearest time at the facility to meet essential requirements. At present, the Noida factory is the largest manufacturing facility of Samsung all around the world, which has entered service since 2018.
The COVID-19 outbreak has cast a bleak shadow over companies in several industries and the economy. With the ease on lockdown restrictions, they’re now looking for different ways to boost sales and cope with the pandemic in long-term strategies.
Samsung India, in the meantime, has re-run a bunch of online campaigns throughout its official website and e-commerce channels like Flipkart and Amazon.
In addition to this, the company has also enabled people to purchase smartphones from their neighborhood stores via the Internet. Xiaomi, another name in the Indian smartphone market, is also putting many efforts into a similar campaign called Mi Commerce.
