Pokémon Go is an augmented reality mobile game made for Android and iOS devices published by Niantic. Back in 2016, the game was first released and it was indeed a global smash. The game has since always been in the top games on both platforms.
A game usually lasts longer when there’s no online mode included, for that’s the bait often used to lure players to come back to the game. However, Pokémon Go doesn’t seem to care much about that, since the company has recently announced that its battle league is launching in 2020.

As of now, Pokémon Go players can only get in contact with their Pokémon locally, like, it has to be physically near them. This means that there has to be another person near there as well, and I’m sure this doesn’t sound good to introverts or anti-social ones.
In a blog post on Monday, Niantic announces that Pokémon Go’s new feature is built based on Trainer Battles, and it is named GO Battle League.
To take part in this league, it’s no doubt that you will have to walk and to run quite a lot. Niantic also added that this league should encourage its players to explore and exploit the outside world with Pokémon. Trainers will have to walk and battle with competitors from all over the world, and they can do that through the online system that automatically matches them with another rival. The matching will be based mostly on users’ ranks.

As the developer claimed, the league would come to Pokémon Go in the first half of 2020.
It might as well be the best time to become a Pokémon trainer now because you will not only have the chance to fight online battles but also to witness the announcement of Shield on the Switch as well as Pokémon Sword.
