On the Thanksgiving holiday, Huawei announced a surprise news as it was the first to use the Android smartphone as a testbed for the Fuchsia operating system - an operating system developed by Google.
Perhaps you have also heard that the new Fuchsia operating system is being developed by Google in a very long time. Although Google has not released many details about this operating system, we have also expected it to be a potential OS. Although developed slowly but surely, many people believe that Fuchsia is going to completely replace the Android and Chrome OS.

Huawei is testing Fuchsia, Google's new operating system
According to 9to5 Google, the company has previously worked with Huawei on the Nexus 6P, one of the favorite handsets from Nexus. Considering that, there's no doubt why Huawei is doing internal tests on the OS version.
Yet, it was actually an engineer from Huawei that revealed the news. In his newly posted commit, he mentioned Honor Play which is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 710 chip, making it the first handset device to be used for testing Fuchsia OS.
Google recently confirmed the existence of Fuchsia operating system. Last year, at the Google I/O Dave Burke, Android VP of engineering at Google, talked about this operating system, at that time it was still a project in its early stages as other internal projects and had not confirmed officially.
About Fuchsia, Burke said one interesting fact is that it's an open source that allows people to see and comment on it. Like other projects at an early stage, it totally can pivot and morph. He said there were a few smart people who they worked with. Basically, this is a standalone operating system and is different from Android. He is very excited and expects its development in the future.
