In the Supreme Court judgments which have been made recently, the unified relationship between same sex have been decriminalized, which soon become the inspiration to many people in India. Therefore, some of them are taking risks and developing new, niche and exceptional applications, which is sometimes compared to taking great risks on the growing India.
Many of the famous dating apps in India have now been involved in this new trend.
Dating apps like the Gleeden, Grindr, the dating app used by LGBTQ, and Wingma, an app used to match- make people, are some of the most likely to develop mobile social media. Right now in India, Tinder, the famous dating app in all over the world, is also a big heat and being the leader in the grossing Android applications.

On answering an article, Solen Paillet, the one who is in charge of managing all women team at Gleeden, a French dating app for married people said:

The number of people in India using Gleeden, calculated this year is about 3.4 lakh, a total of 1.2 lakh more than last year. Among Indian cities, Mumbai, New Delhi and Bengaluru are the three biggest markets of Gleeden. In Mumbai alone, there are already 85,000 people using this application. Paillet also added that:

According to her, the company would mostly concentrate on cities which had the best response to the concept provided by this company in order to expand the company’s popularity in India. In the global scale, Gleeden is now having a group of 4.5 million users.

Another famous dating application is Grindr. This is a dating app first developed in America. This app is specialized for people of different gender, including lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgenders and queer. This app is also said to have witnessed an incredible growth of users coming from India. This is also a sign of the queer Indian people’s resilience and their power. A Grindr spokesperson also said:

Grindr is the application that has a very special equality program. In this program, there is the discovery of different ways to make use of its technical features to help with the promotion of a fair, healthy and safe society and focus on LGBTQ people from around the world in their cooperation with activists, leaders of their community, humanitarian and organizations which help with digital rights.
In an event for Grindr for Equality, Jack Harrison-Quintana, VP, social impact and executive director said:

Statistics provided by App Annie, a company focusing on analytics, showed that in September, the Grindr has increased its place in comparison with other Indian’s social applications from about 150 in July and now it is one of the leading 80 apps.
Wingman is also one of the famous dating apps. This application has the foundation as the picture of a true wingman and allows users to use matchmakers on any friend who is still single. This is also the application’s plan to introduced to India next year. Creative director at Wingman said that:

In 2019, The US along with the UK are counted as Wingman’s most important markets strategy to start in India. This is a dating app having a base in the UK and it allows the connection of men who has beard and women who love beard. This application is also considering the operation into India for the long period of time. The founder of Bristlr, John Kershaw said:
