Apart from the Pixel 4, Nest products, and Pixel Buds, Google has also announced its latest Pixelbook Go during its fall hardware event. Rather than a convertible tablet-hybrid, this device is just a laptop.
The search giant has given its newest offering a lighter design, featuring better performance and a more comfortable price tag. The Go features a 13.3-inch display but weighs just slightly over 1kg.
And here are the new things Google gives us through its Pixelbook Go.

Great design
Not only is the Go lighter, but it also promises better typing experience thanks to a new keyboard design that feels better and is quieter. It also comes with a bigger touchpad. The laptop looks good, with a signature design that helps it stay put on the table and easier to hold.
This laptop also has a phone-like design especially regarding colors, which match last year’s Pixel 3, featuring a softer and curved feel.

A faster charge
The Go can recharge for 2 hours of use within 20 minutes thanks to its fast-charging USB-C. Google added that the larger battery now lasts longer than previous models too, up to 12 hours on a single charge.

Standard specifications, but no microSD card slot
Google may price this laptop starting at Rs 46,347 ($649), but this pricing along with specifications seems similar to that of the Pixel Slate last year. There are three options for the chip, including Intel 8th-gen processor M3, Core i7, and Core i5, storage ranges from 64 to 256GB and RAM of 8 or 16GB. The laptop screen has also been upgraded to 4K resolution, which will cost extra.
However, the device doesn’t offer a card slot, so you cannot expand its storage, which may be a turnoff.
For security, the Pixelbook Go packs the Titan-C like the Pixel Slate from 2018, and there is a variant of the Titan M from 2018’s Pixel 3 smartphone.

Another Chromebook released
According to Google, even with the new Pixelbook Go launched, the Pixelbook and Pixel Slate will remain on sale. While the starting price of this Chromebook is only Rs 46,347, it can go up quickly as you choose higher specs. For a Core i7 chip, 16GB RAM, and 256GB SSD, the laptop can cost almost Rs 1 lakh. By default, the screen resolution is 1920 x 1080, but you can opt for 4K.
