A new section in the Fitbit app has been created to provide information about the COVID-19 pandemic. Users of Fitbit can find this tab or section in their Fitbit app.
All users in 16 different countries including India, Canada, United States, New Zealand, Australia, Ireland, United Kingdom, Norway, South Africa, Hongkong, United Arab Emirates, Malasia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, and Indonesia.
Once they open their Fitbit app, on the homepage, when they look down at the bottom right corner, they will find an option for COVID-19. Tapping this tab, users will see a list of tools and information that keep them informed and updated.

In this tab, there are three sections: Fitbit, PlushCare and World Health Organization.
In the first section, Fitbit has added a Clean Cues clock face with which users can set a time for washing and the device will remind them. Users can also set reminders for other activities like go to bed, to move, etc.
Under the Plushcare section, users can book a video appointment with a doctor.
And for the last section, users will be redirected to the WHO website.

Recently, Fitbit announced that it would offer 40 new pieces of its premium series for free for 90 days. James Park, co-founder, and CEO of the company said that this decision was to encourage the Fitbit’s user community to stay active, eat nutritious foods, sleep well, and manage stress.
Moreover, new users can receive a 90-day free trial of Fitbit Premium instead of 7 days like before. The subscription offers personalized health guidance, health insights, customized programs, advanced sleep tool, and 150+ workout sessions from fitness brands like Daily Burn, barre3, POPSUGAR as well as Yoga Studio by Gaiam.
