Recently, Facebook has announced that they are going to focus on spending their efforts to support the India’s start-up ecosystem. Mark Zuckerberg’s company will help expand the scale of environment for start-ups in this country. This is an action from the biggest social network to restate their previous dedication which was to broaden the supports needed to entrepreneurs in the technology industry in several cities on Earth.
South Asia and India Facebook’s Head of Platform Partnerships, Satyajeet Singh claimed that the company specially care about India start ups’ new generation as they made the commitment to the country. Singh also declared that Facebook will try their best to help start-ups in India get their success as effectively as possible. Talking about the reason for Mark Zuckerberg’s company leading to this decision, Singh said it was the acknowledgement the company realized about how networks, resources and people can boost this new generation to develop their businesses.
Answering reporters, Singh stated that his company aim for the country is to support expanding the ecosystem of start-ups here. With their Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality emerging technologies, Facebook guaranteed they will boost their best efforts to give the new generation anything they need to grow. In addition, it is headed to woman start-ups to provide them with the proper channels and become more confident in their tech industry. Moreover, companies that are generating solutions for impact on the social will also be support conscientiously.
With the India start-up ecosystem expanding initiative, Mark Zuckerberg’s company is planning several different programs to encourage entrepreneurs across the World in the future business. Singh declared that Facebook believes by providing workshops, mentoring, meet-ups and regular training, the company can support its best for the businesses of tomorrow in these potential entrepreneurs' hands.
Over 200 start-ups from SheLeadsTech, Code for the Next Billion and India Innovation Hub has gained the chance to join in the Facebook’s support program in the year 2018. Hopefully India’s start-ups will soon grow their best and contribute to not only the technology industry, but also the whole human civilization in the future, thanks to Facebook’s efforts.
