If you would like to save videos that you record using Instagram, here are the steps that you need to follow:

Open the app.
Click on the profile icon appearing in the lower right corner of the screen to open your Profile tab.

Go to the video post that you wish to save.
Tap its corresponding menu button located in the upper-right corner and represented by three dots.
Click on “Save Video” or “Save”.

How to download your Instagram video story

Below is what you need to do to save Instagram videos added to your story:

Open the Instagram app on your device.
Tap on your stories, which appear on the top left-hand side of your feed along with your profile picture.

Tap the Stories bubble to view your own story.

Press on three dots in the lower-right corner of the video clip you wish to download.
A secret More Options menu will pop up, then choose “Save Video” or “Video”. (There is an option to retrieve the whole story for iPhone owners).

After completing all of the aforementioned steps, you will see a confirmation message that the video clip has been successfully saved to the camera roll.
