Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 Under Armour Edition Launched

Samsung continues to partner with Under Armour to launch the Galaxy Watch Active2 Under Armour edition for a starting price of around Rs. 22,000.

Samsung held the Galaxy Unpacked event on August 7 and introduced various hardware. It is known that the Galaxy Book S was one of the devices that are less expected to be unveiled. Meanwhile, most people expected the launch of the Galaxy Watch Active2. In fact, the device was introduced ahead of the event, however Samsung fans and users worldwide only can get a glimpse of this smartwatch at its launch date. Typically, the watch’s Under Armour model has been introduced as well, which brings a fresh focus on fitness tools which satisfies the rigorous activity enthusiast.
The smartwatch has a special edition aluminum chassis which comes in all-steel or all-black cases. Similar to the base model, this features an AMOLED screen and a rotating bezel interface operated through touch at present. Regarding the features of the Under Armour model, the device will have live info on stride, running, posture forms when it is paired directly with the Under Armour HOVR digital fitness shoe.
Additionally, Samsung will also offer a 6-month term membership to UA’s MVP high-end version to MapMyRun. This offers users route planning, mapping for runs, coaching, heart rate exercises, training exercises & regimes, and mapping for runs, to name a few.
The Under Armour version also comes in a breathable design in the band which is expected to prevent skin abrasions for usage in the long term. Meanwhile, the lightweight aluminum chassis should help ergonomics. The smartwatch will come in a 40mm and 44mm variants and the remaining features are similar to that of the base Galaxy Watch Active 2. It will go on sales via Samsung.com, UA.com, and other retailers with the starting price of $309 (Rs. 22,000 roughly). We are not sure whether this edition will be unveiled in the Indian market or not. However, if it actually does, it is probably priced at about Rs. 25,000.
