In addition to the Galaxy Note 10 and the Galaxy Note 10 Plus, Samsung has just introduced its latest notebook called the Galaxy Book S. This new product is a convertible laptop that is powered with the Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset and has the advantages of both a laptop and a mobile phone.

Specifications of The Galaxy Book S

When it comes to specifications, the Galaxy Book S must be highly appreciated for its productivity. It comes with a 1080p display with an aspect ratio of 16:9 and up to 10 touchpoints. Its weight is just about 0.96 kilograms, rather light over other notebooks.

Running Windows 10 Home/Pro, the Galaxy Book S is powered with a 7nm 64-bit Octa-core processor – the Snapdragon 8cx mobile computing platform which combines the most prominent benefits of smartphones with the advantages of PC. Its chipset is 40% more powerful and shows 80% higher graphics performance than the Snapdragon 850 chipset of the Galaxy Book2.

The latest Samsung notebook comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, a 512GB internal storage, a 720p HD front camera, along with a nano-SIM slot. Additionally, it is equipped with a microSD card slot that allows users to expand the device’s extra storage to 1TB. It supports many various connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, a USB Type-C port, GPS, and VHT80 MU-MIMO.

This latest notebook comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM.

Samsung also brings advanced sensor technologies into this new notebook including a fingerprint sensor, a Hall sensor, light sensor (of the keyboard), and Stereo speakers tuned by AKG. The 42Wh battery is another plus point of the Samsung Galaxy Book S. With it, users can use the device constantly in 23 hours. Besides, they can use the charger of the Galaxy Note 10 or other Galaxy S units to charge for this notebook.
