Galaxy Tab S6, Galaxy Watch Active 2, & Galaxy Watch Active LTE Announced in India

Galaxy Tab S6 was introduced a few months ago and now the tablet has made its way to India. The premium tablet features multiple upgrades over the Galaxy Tab S5. They include on-screen fingerprint reader, dual rear camera setup, and improve S Pen. The device also comes with a Snapdragon 855 SoC, pogo pins to connect an external keyboard, and DeX support. Aside from the tablet, Samsung also announced the Galaxy Watch Active LTE and Galaxy Watch Active 2 in India.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6: Price & Specifications

The tablet comes with a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED panel with thin bezels, on-screen fingerprint reader, and WQXGA (1,600 x 2,560p) resolution. It ships with Samsung’s OneUI that is based on Android 9.0 Pie and packs a massive 7,040 mAh cell. Under the hood, there is a Snapdragon 855 Plus along with 6GB of RAM + 128GB of storage, which is expandable with a microSD card (up to 1TB).

On the imaging front, the Samsung tablet is the first one in the series to come with a dual camera setup. The system includes a 13MP main sensor and a 5MP ultra-wide shooter. On the front, it has an 8MP shooter that can be used for taking selfies and video chats. The device still support Samsung’s AI assistant Bixby and connectivity options like Bluetooth v5.0, GPS with GLONASS, USB-C port and dual-band Wi-Fi.

The price of the Galaxy Tab S6 in India is Rs. 59,990 and it will go on sale from 11 October. Launch offers are cashback of up to Rs. 5,000 for debit or credit cards of HDFC Bank. Users can also purchase a keyboard cover for Rs. 5,499 (original price is Rs. 10,000) and get six-month paid Youtube Premium membership. 

Galaxy Watch Active 2: Price & Specifications

The Galaxy Watch Active 2 comes with touch-sensitive bezels, accelerometer, and real-time heart-rate monitor. The device also supports gyroscope, ambient light sensor, ECG sensor, and barometer. Users can use the wearable in over 39 workouts such as rowing machine, swimming, elliptical machine, cycling, walking, running, and more.

Users can purchase two different models with either aluminum or stainless steel frame. The Watch Active 2 has a Super AMOLED display with 360 x 360p resolution and a Gorilla Glas DX+ layer. It is also MIL-STD-810G and IP68 certified and boots TizenOS. It can be connected to smartphones with Android 5.0, iOS 9.0, or higher.

It is up for grabs at a price of Rs. 26,990 in India for the aluminium model and Rs. 31,990 for the model with stainless steel frame. Users can choose to buy it in multiple colors - Gold, Black, Silver, Cloud, Rose Gold, and Black.

Galaxy Watch Active LTE: Price & Specifications

The device is available in two sizes: 42mm and 46mm. Both models come with rotating bezels, similar to the Galaxy Watch and also eSIM-based LTE connectivity. Other than that, the device has the same specs as the Galaxy Watch Active 2. It can be purchased at Rs. 28,490 for the smaller 42mm model, while the bigger one costs Rs. 30,990.
