Twitch is a popular platform where people can stream themselves doing activities while talking to viewers and asking for donations.
The community can sometimes get toxic, but sometimes they can together pull heartwarming actions to help people in need.
Take this streamer zylTV for an example, this kid recently began streaming himself playing Fortnite on the platform. The special thing is, this boy is not only looking to get money, but he’s also doing this for his dad.

According to zylTV, his father has cancer and is currently at stage 4, he is also taking chemotherapy. Unfortunately, the treatment is taking all of his family’s money, so the kid decided to do what he could to financially support his family, by going on Twitch to livestream.
On the platform, the rule is that streamers must be 13 years old or higher. We don’t know the exact age of zylTV, but it is likely that Twitch has helped the streamer bypass the rule in this case.
Anyway, the boy has been streaming for 10 non-stop hours of his Fortnite gaming to get donations from strangers. The story went viral on Reddit and a lot of gamers promised to donate for the treatment of his dad’s cancer.
The streamer explained on Twitch that in September 2018, his dad was diagnosed with cancer and it was already at stage 3 at the time. Over time, the illness spread to his lungs.

The boy wrote on Twitch chat:
Also, his family seems incredibly proud of the boy who has even featured his dad in one stream. His dad said that he has been really weak and has to stay in bed most of the time, he can barely walk.
If you want to help the boy and his family, you can visit zylTV on Twitch and maybe make some contribution to his father’s cancer treatment.
