People are very satisfied with the Uber Pool service, which provides passengers with the ability to travel around the city at a much cheaper price than going by taxi. With this success, Uber is launching a new service similar to Uber Eats, instead of carrying passengers now the company will transport food.
Over the past few years, Uber has focused on testing a new service called Uber Pool Eats. This service allows the driver to receive multiple orders from a restaurant or eatery and deliver food to customers living in close proximity.
At the Uber Eats homepage, there is a promotion: “$2 off your order — share a courier with a nearby order.” Plus, you will find a list of restaurants where you can get discount codes and a countdown timer. This clock will count down the time to refresh the restaurant listing which will include the user's time on the restaurant ordering page. The purpose of this watch is to motivate users to shorten ordering time on the Uber Eats Pool so that they do not have time to check other competitors and to reduce the waiting time for food delivered to the home between the first and the last order.
Furthermore, Uber Eats Pool offers incentives to encourage users to order food from a specific restaurant group. This helps the restaurants who do not have many excellent options still be suggestively ordered by customers.
This is not a bad strategy for Uber, as food delivery services are growing and expanding like GrubHub and DoorDash. Uber's launch of Uber Eats Pool is a step in the right direction to increase sales and expand the company's market. It can not be guaranteed that the $ 2 will cover the cost of shipping, taxes, and tips. We expect Uber's plan to be fully accountable for this, and there will be significant discounts when the Uber Eats Pool is officially put into operation.
