During his three-day visit to India, Satya Nadella, Microsoft CEO, will share his vision for technology’s future and the way the company wants to drive digital transformation in the country.
Satya Nadella will visit New Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru from the 24th to the 26th of February. He will deliver the keynote in Bengaluru and Mumbai during the Future Decoded CEO Summits.

A group of students, entrepreneurs, and developers will get the chance to meet him in person in Delhi. In 2019, Microsoft introduced its K12 Education Transformation Framework to schools across the country to equip students with skills necessary for the future. The framework also focuses on the digital transformation of education by integrating simplifying STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), personalization, AI, and gamification into the program.
According to Prasanto K Roy, a consultant of tech and policy, India is one of the top markets of Microsoft and Satya Nadella pays a visit to the country almost every year. In the last 20 years, government engagement has always been the main focus of the company.
Microsoft first set up its operation in India in 1990 and the last three decades have seen the company building a solid presence in the country. The tech giant has already had two India Development Centres in Hyderabad and Bengaluru and has just opened the third in Noida.
Microsoft aims at accelerating digital transformation for businesses, government agencies, and startups in India. Satya Nadella’s current visit is the affirmation of this commitment.
Last fiscal year, Microsoft India reported revenue of over $1 billion. It is also one of the most valuable companies in the world with a market capitalization of more than $1 trillion in 2019.
