PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, PUBG, has created the popularity of the omnipresent battle-royale genre. Now, at the fourth season of the game, PUBG Corp is giving PUBG official lore. On Tuesday, the company released a cinematic trailer for this game, revealing that the last survivor killing is an extremely rich man’s brainchild, himself traumatized by war.
In the trailer, a young child is the only survivor of a bombing in the game's first map Erangel in 1965, who hid from soldiers. The narrator says:
Then, many years has past and today, the young, unlucky boy has become a man, now watches PUBG’s chaos which unfolded through various screens. And when the trailer ends, he says “Welcome to my battlegrounds.”
With season 4, the game developer will give it a major update with a drastic visual update in the game, new parkour movement, and additional vehicles, weapons, as well as a story. PUBG Season 4 will launch on July 24.
Currently the most popular mobile game in India, PUBG is an online battle royale game fro multiplayers that was created and published by Korean-based PUBG Corporation, a subsidiary of video game firm Bluehole. Its creation is based on mods that were previously made for other games, inspired by the film Battle Royale. In this game, a hundred players land on an island, search for weapons as well as equipment to kill other players while avoiding getting shot down. As the game goes one, the size of the safe area on the game's map reduces, which means surviving players are forced to encounter each other. The last surviving player or team wins the round.
