However, this restriction is for Indian players only, as players from other countries have not been affected.

When being asked about this alleged restriction, PUBG has not immediately responded. We will update you once we get more information on this.

PUBG players said that after two hours of playing the game, they received the first warning. After four hours, the next warning popped up, saying that they were about to reach the limit. And then after six hours, players saw a box which wrote ‘health reminder.’ Players were told they have been in the game for six hours and not until 24 hours have passed would they be able to come back.

The gameplay hour limit comes after PUBG Mobile was made illegal in Gujarat and several arrests made by law enforcement.

Recently, the Chinese government implemented a ban stating that players under 13 would not be allowed to play the game.

Pubg Banned

Many Indian players playing the game more than six hours on Thursday reported that they still received alerts asking them to wait before they could get back into the game.

After the game being banned in Rajkot and people got arrested for playing, PUBG Mobile has issued an official statement saying that the company is making efforts in understanding the legal basis. In the same statement, PUBG Mobile claimed that the video game is “meant merely for entertainment and should be enjoyed in a healthy and responsible manner.”
