PUBG Addiction: 20-Year-Old Boy Dies Playing Too Much PUBG

PUBG Mobile again features in yet another controversy where a 20-year-old boy just dies because of playing too much PUBG Mobile.

PUBG has been a controversial topic in India recently. It has been causing a lot of concerns over negative effects it imposes to young people with the fact that more people are being overly addicted to it. Now, a boy at 20 years of age from Jagitial Telangana was died due to playing too much video game, PUBG Mobile to be specific, according to an online report.

As per the report, this youngster was continuously playing the popular mobile game for the past 45 days which might be the main cause for his severe neck pain. He was then taken care of in a hospital located in Hyderabad. Unfortunately, he later died during an undergoing treatment. The report suggests that the consistent and long gaming session should be the main course of this issue causing all his nerves in the neck to be severely damaged.
However, he is not the only case where PUBG Mobile addiction has been causing someone’s trouble or even death. Recently, a youngster failed his first-year pre-university exam as all he wrote in the exam was how to play PUBG.

In a different case, a young boy at 15 years of age was reported missing on 11 March. According to his father, he is a good PUBG Mobile player, and he might leave his home due to his teammates convincing him to do so. The missing boy, called Abhinav, is a Class 10 student while his father called Rajesh Kumar Jayant is a teacher at a school in Delhi.

After causing a lot of controversies, PUBG Corporation and Tencent Games seem to be under a lot of pressure. And it might make them decide to implement a new policy to restrict users to play more than 6 hours. And yes, this restriction is only applied within India only. Players in other countries will not be affected by this policy.
