With this move, Odisha will become the country’s first state to have a large-scale hospital to exclusively treat COVID-19 patients.

The CSR funding to build the hospital will be from Mahanadi Coalfields Limited and Odisha Mining Corporation, according to a report.
This move is said to follow China where temporary hospitals were set up in a span of days to tackle the virus and treat infected patients. Odisha government, medical colleges, and corporates have signed an agreement to set up the facility.

All rail movements have been stopped. Preventing the spread of the virus, many state governments have shut down colleges, schools, colleges. Restaurants are facing a huge loss in profit as people avoid public places in fear of COVID-19. Travelers arriving at the Indian borders will have their body temperatures checked by the medical staff.
