As the world continues to battle COVID-19, we have witnessed many irresponsible acts. In a shocking event, a nurse has been suspended from work after admitting that she had taken off her PPE to have sex with a COVID-19 patient in a hospital toilet.
Both the nurse and the patient would be investigated and charged under the anti-pornography laws of Indonesia. The incident reportedly took place at a field hospital in the country.

The episode was exposed after the patient bragged about it on social media. After the post became viral on the internet, the man and the nurse were brought in for an investigation. Both admitted that the story was true.
Various reports state that at the time of the incident, the nurse was employed by the Wisma Atlet quarantine facility in the capital of the country.
After the confession, following the order of the authorities, the pair was tested for COVID-19. While the man was still positive for the coronavirus, the test result of the nurse came out to be negative.

For both of them, the senseless act proved to be costly. Officials have confirmed that, under Indonesia's pornography laws, they could have to face criminal prosecution even though the post wasn't pornographic.
If convicted, the pair may face up to 10 years in prison.
