Netflix Users Can Now See What’s Popular On The Platform

After testing a new “Top 10” feature in the UK and Mexico for the last six months and seeing great results, Netflix has made the feature available globally.

After testing a new “Top 10” feature in the UK and Mexico for the last six months and seeing great results, Netflix has made the feature available globally. With this feature, users can see the top 10 most popular films and series once they click on the tabs for movies and TV shows on both the Netflix website and the mobile apps. Besides being able to see the top-10 lineup, users can also view the most popular programs on Netflix in their country.

In its official press release announcing the new feature’s availability, Netflix said that these lists, available on both its mobile apps and website, would be updated daily. Moreover, depending on how the films and shows are relevant to you, the row’s position would change.

The Top-10 lists will appear once you click on the “TV Shows” and “Movies” tabs. The movies and shows in the lists can be in-house content or licensed third-party programs.

If the shows aren’t relevant to you, you might have to scroll down to find the lists. As per Netflix, the programs in the Top-10 list will have a “Top 10” badge which appears whenever you open these programs.

On its official blog post, the platform said that the feature would help users find new movies and shows faster and creating more shared moments.
