Going All-In With Virtual Reality

With so many venues assigned for each specific event, it can be quite cumbersome to train the ground staff. The 2020 Olympics’ theme track was created using AI using 1,000 different sound samples related to sports, Japanese daily lives, culture, and nature.

With these samples, the AI put together five different rhythms. The beat consists of two parts, the base rhythm (the call) and the response rhythm (the response). The call part will be played to audiences. And they will follow the response part by clapping their hands to hype up the atmosphere.
