Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, which basically a game similar to Pokémon GO but rather than pokéballs and Pikachus, there are wands and giant spiders, was launched just last week. However, at the time, the game was available only in the UK, US, New Zealand, and Australia.

The reason behind this limited launch was Niantic’s country-by-country strategy, helping the company keep their servers remain stable. By launching the game globally over a period of time, they will hopefully be able to find out the potential issues in server scaling before multiple players complain on Twitter.

A similar strategy was applied on Pokémon GO; however, Niantic’s servers still had trouble staying up. The unproven first draft network architecture couldn’t handle the game’s viral popularity, and players suffered from outages for weeks, on a large scale. It took weeks for Pokémon GO to arrive at a few countries, and many regions did not get the game for several months.

Luckily, this time, for soon-to-be players of Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, the rollout is likely to happen a little faster. Just a couple of days after the official launch, last weekend, the game made its way to another 25 regions, including India.

And here’s the full list of the regions to have newly welcomed the game: India, Switzerland, Sweden, Spain, Singapore, Portugal, the Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Norway, Netherlands, Mexico, Malaysia, Luxembourg, Italy, Ireland, Indonesia, India, Iceland, Germany, France, Finland, Denmark, Canada, Brunei Darussalam, Belgium, and Austria.
