Delhi police arrested a man for stealing eight motorcycles just to impress his girlfriend as he was teased by her for not having one.

On March 7, Delhi police arrested a man for stealing eight motorcycles just to impress his girlfriend. Obviously, the girlfriend had teased him for not having one.

The culprit called Lalit had known for organizing as well as attending parties around the New Delhi area to show off to his girlfriend. But last month, on Valentine’s Day, his efforts seemed to be effortless as he was teased by his girlfriend for not owning a motorcycle. He felt hurt.

Lalit, together with his friend Saheed, worked on a plan to steal as many expensive motorcycles as possible. The plan was carried out last month. Things went smoothly at the beginning as the pair succeeded in stealing quite a few expensive two-wheelers. But their action attracted the police’s attention. The police then laid a trap to catch them.

Then on March 6, the police received information about two motorcycle thieves in the Dwarka area. And a trap was set up. When two suspects were spotted on an expensive motorcycle that didn’t have a license plate, the police stopped them to verify the vehicle. It turned out, a guy in Bindapur, Delhi reported that his bike had been stolen on February 21.

The two thieves confessed their crime and admitted that they had stolen eight motorcycles from different areas of the Indian capital. When being asked about his reason, Lalit told the story of how he was teased by his girlfriend and he just wanted to impress her.
