While human beings are forced to stay inside to contain the spread of COVID-19, animals are taking advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime chance. There are several incidents where animals freely roaming around the cities have been going viral on the Internet.
In Chile's capital, Santiago, a puma decided to wander on the streets during the city's curfew time. Meanwhile, in North Wales, the mountain goats have invaded to streets to look for food. In Barcelona, people also spot wild boars roaming around.

From the appearance of a leopard in Chandigarh to a rhinoceros casually walking down the streets of Nepal, these are things that have never happened before. And now, recently, in Navi Mumbai, the Seawoods complex residents have a little surprise when flamingos appeared in the area.
A resident of the area shot the video. He wrote that the full moon brought higher high tide which in turn brought in more water, attracting even more flamingos. Instead of being a part of a man-made water body, the Talawe Wetlands & TS Chanakya Wetlands belong to this intertidal zone. He also urged the Urban development department and CIDCO to make this area a Flamingo Sanctuary as soon as possible.

The appearance of flamingos suggests how without humans, animals and birds are free in their natural habitats.
Let’s hope that the area would be declared as a flamingo sanctuary so that they can roam around freely and comfortably even when there are humans.
