Sadly, it is unlikely that the Vivo Apex 2020 will be released in the future because it is just a concept version aimed at showing off the technology

Today, Vivo has officially launched a new smartphone in the concept Apex series called Vivo Apex 2020. This smartphone has a lot of advanced technology that no other smartphone company in the world can do. It includes the under-display selfie camera, 60W super-fast wireless charging technology or anti-shake gimbal camera.

In terms of design, we can see that the Vivo Apex 2020 inherits the main highlights of the previous Apex generation with a curved edge screen and does not have any physical buttons or ports. To use it, users will completely rely on wireless technologies such as wireless charging, eSIM, wireless headsets ...

And this is the main camera cluster of the device housed in a circular module

This camera cluster consists of 2 lenses, the main lens with a 48MP sensor and a telephoto lens with 5 - 7.5x zoom capability. The entire module will anti-shake gimbal camera system, instead of just the lens like other smartphones.

Vivo didn't reveal the hardware specifications of the 2020 Apex, but it is likely that it will run on the latest Snapdragon 865 chipset with a 5G modem.

The front of the device is ultra-curved on both sides.

And this is the much-awaited in-display selfie camera technology. It is not clear how Vivo handles this technology and whether the camera's image quality will be reduced compared to the traditional selfie camera when covered by a layer of glass.

The sides do not have any physical buttons or ports.

To charge for Vivo Apex 2020, users need to use a separate wireless charging dock bundled with the device.

Vivo Apex 2020 has super-fast wireless charging technology with a capacity of up to 60W.

Currently, the Vivo Apex 2020 has no pricing because this is just a concept version aimed at showing off the technology. However, in the future, it is likely that Vivo will launch a Vivo NEX 4 that inherits the unique technologies on this Apex 2020.
