Samsung has already launched its Galaxy A8 in the Chinese market with the price of CNY3,799 (roughly Rs. 38,000). And the phone also just went official in India in a single variant with 8GB RAM / 128GB storage for Rs. 47,990.
The most outstanding feature of this handset is its unique 180-degree sliding-rotating camera, creating a different feeling for its users among various devices with the same design tendency.
Thanks to this mechanism, Samsung can equip the device with the full-view display and bring a new standard called New Infinity with no cut-out and notch to the mobile industry. The screen size of the A80 is quite large with 6.7 inches. However, it is absolutely not oversized when on the user's hands as it takes full advantage of the full-view display, reducing redundant space.
Regarding the camera, as mentioned, this is the highlight and makes the difference of Galaxy A80 compared to other products. Of course, the uniqueness lies in the rotating mechanism, but its greatest benefit is to make the output quality of selfie camera more beautiful and clearer like the rear camera.
With the triple rear camera setup including a 48 MP camera, paired with a ToF sensor supporting Live Focus mode for image and video output, and an 8MP 123-degree ultra-wide sensor with an aperture of f/2.2.
Of course, when using the camera setup for selfies, it offers a better quality that other phones can catch up with. Users can take advantage of the shooting and recording features with Live Focus mode or super wide-angle perfectly. With the "2-in-1" camera system, the Galaxy A80 also targets young audiences who usually livestream.
The Galaxy A80 is powered by a Qualcomm's Snapdragon 730G SoC, paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. With this configuration, this Samsung's smartphone promises to bring good multi-tasking capabilities and help users have a more perfect experience.
The Galaxy A80 is packed with a 3,700 mAh battery. In particular, it is Samsung's second smartphone to feature the 25W SuperFast Charging tech after Galaxy S10+ 5G.
The Galaxy A80 comes with a charger with USB-C port.
The Galaxy A80 is Samsung's first smartphone to come with "Sound on Display" technology, Dolby Atmos tech support, 360-degree sound when using headphones or Bluetooth speakers.
The phone's edges are also coated in pink like the rear panel. The frame is made of metal, offering a quite compact, firm grip and a premium feel.
The Galaxy A80 is also equipped with an on-screen fingerprint sensor.
The device is available for two color options in China including Rose Gold and Black.
