After announcing the sub-brand Reno in April this year, Oppo continues to release a second series promising to bring more interesting experiences for those who seek new technology and top-notch design.
Leaving Oppo Reno 2 aside, let's explore what the included accessory includes? I was very surprised when the phone cover was made very beautifully, no longer a monotonous plastic one as before.
Looking closely at the case, you'll see that Oppo has added a thin layer of leather (or imitation leather), adding a luxurious part to the product. This is the first time I has felt that a case attached to the product is so well designed.
Going back to the main part, we have a Oppo Reno 2 Sunset Pink version, which will be very attractive to female users.
Overall, the design of the Reno 2 is quite similar to the first Reno smartphone, probably also because the previous product already has a great design that Oppo did not need to change much and retain what is most popular.
The Oppo Reno 2 has a Sony IMX586 main sensor with 1/2-inch size, 48MP resolution, f/1.7 aperture, and integrated OIS (Optical Image Stabilization); 1/3.4 inch telephoto sensor with 13MP resolution and f/2.4 aperture; 116-degree ultra-wide-angle sensor with 1/3.2 inch size and 8MP resolution; 2MP black and white sensor with large pixel size of 1.75 μm.
OPPO also adds a digital zoom capability on the phone with Fusion Imaging technology that raises the Reno 2's zoom capability up to 20x - double that of the previous Reno 10x Zoom phone. We will have a separate review article about the new enhancements on this Reno 2.
No longer limited to photography, the brand is focusing on video recording capabilities as the device now allows taking advantage of both EIS and OIS. Oppo said the ability to record videos at 60 fps also helps make videos smoother. Ultra Steady Mode on Reno 2 offers excellent image stabilization when shooting with a super wide-angle lens with a 20 percent crop ratio, no matter how shaky the camera holder is.
The Reno 2 is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor configuration, up to 8 GB RAM and up to 256 GB storage. For the first time, OPPO has equipped its own NPU to optimize AI performance when processing night photography. The built-in battery has a capacity of 4000 mAh, and supports VOOC 3.0 super-fast charging technology. VOOC 3.0 uses a new VFC algorithm to shorten the final charging time by 10%, while 5 layers of protection will ensure both user and device safety.
Thanks to the shark fin module for the selfie camera system, the Reno screen looks very impressive with very thin bezels and helps you enjoy watching movies or surfing web even more.
The Oppo Reno 2's India price is Rs. 36,990 for its single variant and users can purchase the phone in either Luminous Black and Ocean Blue colors.
