Xiaomi has recently introduced the Xiaomi Mi CC smartphones series, which is targeted at young customers. The Chinese phone maker also released a promo video clip on its official Weibo account. The video has the participation of eight-year-old Gavin Thomas, an Internet sensation. The boy used the CC9e to take some selfies in the video.

In addition, according to the video, a representative of Xiaomi is playing with the smartphone looking at Gavin’s photos, waiting for the boy to come in for a photo shoot. Everybody wants to have selfies with the boy, thus the representative stroll on an official photo shoot for another, “ad-libbed” one with the phone.
In addition, a Xiaomi Mi CC9e’s official-looking render has appeared online also, which gives us a progressively detailed look at the device’s hardware. It looks similar to the Mi 9 with the Mi 9 SE’s smoothly shaped camera notch.

According to the previous report, the CC9e sports a 6.39-inch display, and watching the video clip it seems to be true. In addition, the selfie pictures were captured by an alleged 32MP selfie camera and the phone also reportedly comes with a 48MP primary sensor on the rear panel. Besides, the phone is tipped to be powered by a Snapdragon 712 chipset under the hood. Powering it is a big 4,000 mAh battery. Because there has been no official information from the company, we still need to wait for more information.
For further information, the Xiaomi Mi CC series is introduced by Xiaomi in coordination with Meitu AI Aesthetics Lab. There will be two models in the series including the Mi CC9 and the Mi CC9e. The Mi CC9 will be powered by a Snapdragon 730 SoC, a big 4,000 mAh battery and NFC. The handset is tipped to feature an on-screen fingerprint sensor, a triple rear camera setup, and a 32MP selfie camera.
