Xiaomi Mi MIX 2020 Design Leaked: Dual Screens, No Notch, No Selfie Camera

Even though the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2020 design is not as impressive as that of the Xiaomi Mi MIX Alpha, it is much more practical and easier to commercialize.

Last year, Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi Mi MIX Alpha smartphone with an extremely unique design. The device’s screen covers almost the entire front and back panels with a rate of up to 180%. However, up until now, the phone is still a concept and hasn’t been up for sales in any market, including China. The device is also listed on Xiaomi India’s website, but Xiaomi is said to have no plan for releasing the phone in India. Now, it seems like Xiaomi has already been working on the next Mi MIX smartphone called Xiaomi Mi MIX 2020.

A patent registered under the name "Xiaomi Mi MIX 2020" has just been spotted. Maybe this is the Mi MIX that Xiaomi will launch this year. The smartphone has a full-screen design and a secondary screen on the back.

As described by the patent, the Mi MIX 2020 does not have a selfie camera. Thanks to that, the screen of the smartphone covers nearly 100 percent of the front panel with ultra-thin borders.

The back design of the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2020 is quite interesting when it is equipped with an extra screen located below the dual camera cluster. This second secondary screen can display date, time, battery capacity, notifications or incoming calls. Besides, it can also be used as a viewfinder to take selfies.
