Xiaomi has launched its Mi CC9 lineup in China. The series is positioned in the mid-range segment and is a camera-focused series. It is known that the Mi CC9e and CC9 are the first offerings of the lineup. But they were not the only phones introduced at the launch event. Xiaomi also unveiled the Mi CC9 Meitu Edition, which is a special version phone developed by the Meitu team that the brand acquired by the end of last year.
Xiaomi Mi CC9 Meitu Edition: Price

The phone with 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage is expected to cost CNY2,599 (roughly Rs. 26,000). The phone is available in White Pearl special color and comes with a CNY49 (roughly 490) clip-on LED light and a CNY199 (roughly Rs. 1,990) bracelet case.
Xiaomi Mi CC9 Meitu Edition: Specifications

In addition to new shade, the Meitu Edition has the same appearance to the Mi CC9 lineup. The phone sports glass sandwich design with a Dot notch, on-screen fingerprint sensor, and AI-backed triple rear camera setup.
This special edition has the similar specs to the base Mi CC9 phone, which comes with a Snapdragon 710 chipset under the hood, a 6.39-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a screen-to-body ratio of 91%, and a big 4,030 mAh battery with the 18W quick charging tech.
The only difference between the two models is the rear camera setup. The camera module of the CC9 Meitu Edition includes a 48MP sensor, an 8MP sensor and a 2MP sensor, which is better than the base CC9. On the front, the device features a 32MP camera for video calling and taking selfies.

The phone is aimed at the Vloggers and has AI lowlight portrait mode alongside improved body beauty filter and movie portrait. The handset is said to offer better blur-free video, portraits, and selfies. In addition, the phone also has a separate cam application developed by Meitu, special themes, and MIUI OS customized version with Meitu applications.
