The Xiaomi Mi A3 has been featured in many teasers recently, and they give us a good look of what to expect from the handset. Now, Xiaomi Spain just confirmed that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi A3 and Mi A3 Lite will make its debut in Spain on 17 July. The two will be launched as the global models of the recently-launched Xiaomi Mi CC9e and Mi CC9 with the stock version of Android.

Moreover, official Twitter page of Xiaomi posted 3 teasers that reveal the selling points of the handsets which are: on-screen fingerprint reader, bigger battery, and better performance compared to its predecessor Xiaomi Mi A2. Just as other phones in the Mi A series, the upcoming Mi A3 phones will also be a part of Google’s Android One program.

As it is identical to the CC9 phone, we do not need to recall its design again. Instead, it’s worth mentioning that the Mi A3 will feature a headphone jack, which is removed in its predecessor – Mi A2. Also, there is a new Android One logo at the phone’s bottom left.

To recall, the Mi A3 is said to feature a headphone jack, a feature that was removed in the Xiaomi Mi A2. On the front, the handset will likely sport a 6-inch Super AMOLED panel with FHD+ (2,240 x 1,080p) resolution, a water-drop notch, and an on-screen fingerprint reader. It is also tipped to feature a 32MP selfie camera.

At the back, the Mi A3 is expected to boast a triple camera setup, comprising of a 48MP primary camera with f/1.79 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. Ticking at its core will most likely be a Snapdragon 665 octa-core processor instead of the Snapdragon 710 processor on the Mi CC9.

The handset will pack 4GB of RAM and 64/128GB of storage. Fueling the handset will be a beefy 4,000mAh battery while which fast charging solution it will support is unknown for now. Software-wise, since the phone is a part of the Android One program, it will ship with the stock version of Android 9 Pie out of the box.
