Xiaomi introduced its Qin mobile phone brand with the launch of feature phone called Qin1 on the crowdfunding platform Youpin, which drew much attention of the public last year. The phone not only is a feature handset but also comes with several features like AI, Wifi, 4G connectivity, and others. A notable upgrade of the device added to Youpin for crowdfunding is Qin Multi-parent AI Assistant. Around it now is a phone with many innovative features comprising of AI, USB Type-C port, Android 9 Pie Android Go, 4G, and others.

The device sports a 5.05-inch screen with full view design and a 22.5:9 aspect ratio. The device is 8.6mm thick and has a weight of 105g. The brand uses polycarbonate as the build material of the phone. In term of imaging capabilities, the device comes with a 5MP rear sensor with no selfie camera.
Besides, the phone has all physical buttons including volume rockers, AI button, and power button on its right side. It features USB-C port and is backed with a 2,100 mAh battery. It has the supports for infrared remote control function support as well as 12 categories and over 100 infrared devices like set-top boxes, TVs, air conditioners, and other home appliances.
Additionally, the device only supports 6 applications like Taobao, Alipay, WeChat, and translation. Besides, it features a dual version that can be switched with one simple click. “Student Edition” includes diverse audio resources created by Baiyu, NetEase, Douban Reading, Himalayan, and Xinhua Dictionary. The device has interesting tools for learning, pure interface, open vision, which is an easy way for children to know. The device runs Android 9 Pie Android Go edition and has 32GB storage.
The phone is officially priced at CNY499 (roughly Rs. 5,000) and has 4 color options including pink, blue, black, and red. It will go on sales in the country on 31 August.
