After announcing Redmi as an independent brand earlier in the year, China-based Xiaomi recently introduced the creative and colorful ‘Mi CC’ series which is aimed at those who are photography enthusiasts. The company is collaborating with Meitu for this series, and the team that is responsible for the series development will be Chic & Cool 90. If this news is to be believed, Xiaomi might initially announce two Mi CC smartphones called Mi CC9e and CC9. While photos and specs of the CC9e have already surfaced online, the CC9’s render photo revealed a flip camera design similar to the one on the Asus 6Z. Now, a live image of the Mi CC9 has posted on Weibo, revealing all of its design.

You can see in the picture that the handset will come with thin bezels on all sides and a thin chin at its bottom. As mentioned, the phone is said to feature the flip camera design, so there will be no selfie shooter on the front, which means the phone will sport a full-screen display. It is also tipped to have a screen-to-body ratio of more than 90 percent and a 48MP main snapper. For security, there is a good chance that it will have an on-screen fingerprint reader. Unfortunately, the photo doesn’t show us its rear panel, but we believe that Xiaomi will go for a glossy finish on the phone.

In addition, the Mi CC9 is slated to launch on 2 July and is said to feature triple rear cameras. The Chinese company also confirmed that it will boast a 48MP Sony IMX 586 sensor at the back and teased a 32MP selfie camera. Finally, it is highly likely that the smartphone will ship with Xiaomi’s MIUI 10 that is based on Android 9 Pie at launch and come with a beefy 4,000mAh battery and a USB-C port.
