Chinese phone maker Vivo is expected to introduce a new addition to its Vivo Z series dubbed Vivo Z5X at a launch event in its home country China on 24 May. Ahead of the official launch, several live photos of the handset have already surfaced online, and they give us a good idea about the phone. Now, a few days before the event, the purported Vivo Z5x reportedly appeared on benchmarking site Geekbench along with some details about its specification.
The alleged Vivo Z5x appeared on benchmarking app Geekbench with the model number of Vivo V1911A. The Geekbench listing reveals some key specifications of the upcoming phone. According to the listing, it will be driven by a 1.71 GHz Snapdragon 710 octa-core processor, paired with 8GB RAM. In addition, the listing also reveals that it will ship with Android 9.0 Pie at launch. With the Snapdragon 710 SoC and 8GB of RAM, the handset scored 1,848 and 5,915 points in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. Unfortunately, that is all we know from the Geekbench listing.
To recall, the previous leaks already told us that the upcoming Vivo Z5x will be the first from the company to sport a hole-punch display which is pretty late since quite a few brands embrace the design like Oppo, Motorola, Huawei, and Samsung. The phone is already confirmed to be fueled by a monstrous 5,000 mAh cell but still has a rather slim body with roughly 8 mm around its waist. The phone will reportedly come with the company’s Dual-Engine Fast-charge tech that can boost the device’s charging rate.
That is every detail we have got about the Vivo Z5x. However, the phone’s launch date is confirmed to be 24 May which is just a few days away, so stay tuned, we will keep you updated.
