The Vivo X30’s launch is scheduled to take place on 16 December. The handset was previously tipped to carry a quad-camera cluster. Now, we have got the details about the camera setup. The main sensor will carry 64MP resolution, whereas the other three sensors were revealed by a reliable source on Weibo.
As shown in an official teaser video posted by Vivo, the upcoming Vivo X30 will have a 32MP portrait camera that is claimed to offer the outcome of professional shots with a 50mm lens. The other two shooters are a 13MP periscope camera and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle snapper.
The entire camera cluster of the phone will have EIS and OIS, but we can’t confirm which one will carry both technologies. Not just that, the phone will also offer up to 60x digital zoom, thanks to its “super-telephoto” periscope cam.
For now, the company only teased the rear panel of the device in Coral and Red colors on its social media account. We believe that it might be available in Black or White hues as well. Now, we have the chance to look at its front design. You can see a punch-hole at the top right corner of the screen. Although we have already seen this in a previous leak, it is still nice to get confirmation from the official source.
Other specifications of the forthcoming Vivo X30 include an Exynos 980 SoC alongside a 5G modem for 5G connectivity. It might pack up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. On the front, there could be a 6.5-inch AMOLED panel and an under-display fingerprint reader. Under the hood, the phone might be fueled by a 4,500 mAh battery cell with support for the 45W fast charging technology. Software-wise, we thought that the OS’s name would be changed to JoviOS, but the lastest information suggests that the company will still stick with the name “FunTouchOS” on the device.
