A mysterious Vivo smartphone carrying model number of V1921A has recently been spotted on TENAA website. The TENAA listing was just updated to give us more details about the upcoming phone’s specifications and also its photos. As per the listing, the upcoming Vivo V1921A handset will come with a 6.38-inch AMOLED panel with a dewdrop notch on the top to house a selfie camera. It is fueled by a beefy 4,420 mAh battery with support 22.5 fast charging solution. However, the listing doesn’t reveal which processor will be used in this device, though the listing does show that its octa-core processor will have a clock speed of 2.3 GHz. The processor will likely be paired with 6/8GB of RAM and 64/128/256GB of storage.
In addition, the handset is expected to ship with Android 9 Pie out of the box with the company’s Funtouch OS v9.0 on top. On the front, there will likely be an FHD+ display with a resolution of 2,340 x 1,080p resolution. At the back, it is said to sport a triple rear camera setup, including a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP secondary snapper, and a 2MP shooter. For selfie duties, it will be equipped with a 32MP selfie. On the left side, it seems to have a hardware button, which I strongly believe to be a dedicated button to activate Google Assistant. On its right spine, it appears to feature a power button and volume rockers. Its dimensions are 159.53x75.23x8.13 mm and it weighs 189.6g.
While we don’t know the exact name of this upcoming Vivo V1921A, but we found quite a few similarities between this phone and the newly-announced iQOO Neo which also has a dew-drop notch, an on-screen fingerprint reader, and the same dimensions. However, its camera sensors and chipset might be different from those used in the iQOO Neo with a Snapdragon 845 SoC.
Unfortunately, these are all the details we have got about this phone, but we will update as soon as we know more details in the upcoming weeks.
