The Vivo V17 has been silently launched as the third offerings in the Vivo V17 series after the Vivo V17 Pro and V17 Neo. It arrives as a rebranded model of the Vivo S1 Pro, with key specs including a Super AMOLED panel, a 32MP selfie shooter, and a quad-camera cluster with a 48MP main sensor. Overall, the Vivo V17 has similar design and specs to the recently-launched Vivo S1 Pro, including the diamond-shaped camera module.
Vivo V17: Price
The Vivo V17 is priced at 22,990 RUB (roughly Rs. 25,700) in Russia in either Blue Fog or Cloudy Blue colors. It will be available for pre-ordering in the country until 5 December. The company hasn’t mentioned about its launch in India or other markets, but we believe that it will make its way to the Indian market soon, considering the fact that the brand released the Vivo V15 earlier in the year.
Vivo V17: Features & Specifications
The handset flaunts a 6.38-inch Super AMOLED panel with Full-HD+ resolution. At the back, it has a curved panel in gradient finish. For security, it features an on-screen fingerprint reader for biometric authentication. Under the hood, there is a 4,500 mAh battery cell that supports fast charging solution via a USB-C port.
Powering the device is a Snapdragon 665 chipset, aided by 8GB RAM / 128GB storage. Users can use the microSD card slot to expand its storage up to 256GB. For software, it ships with Android 9.0 Pie pre-installed and FunTouch OS 9.2 on top.
For photography, it rocks a quad-camera system at the back and it is placed in a unique diamond-shaped module. The setup consists of a 48MP primary sensor, a 2MP dedicated macro lens, a 2MP depth-sensing camera, and an 8MP camera with an ultra-wide-angle lens. On the front, there is a 32MP selfie shooter housed in the water-drop notch.
