The Vivo U20 finally goes official in India as a direct successor to the Vivo U10, that launched not too long ago. The handset arrives with similar form factor, battery, memory configurations, and display size as its predecessor. The camera and chipset are the two key differences between the two. The Vivo U20 rocks a more powerful Snapdragon 675 chipset, 16MP selfie snapper, and a better triple camera cluster at the back.
Vivo U20: Price
The handset is priced at Rs. 10,990 in India for the 4GB of RAM model, while the 6GB of RAM variant will set you back by Rs. 11,990. It will be up for sale from 12 p.m on 28 November via the company’s e-store and Amazon India.
You can get a discount of Rs. 1,000 for prepaid orders and no-cost EMI for up to 6 months. The device is offered in Blaze Blue and Racing Black hues.
Vivo U20: Specifications
The Vivo U20 flaunts a 6.51-inch FHD+ display with a Halo notch at the top that houses a selfie shooter. Under the hood, it rocks a Snapdragon 675 octa-core processor, accompanied by up to 6GB RAM / 64GB of storage. Software-wise, it runs on Android 9.0 Pie with Vivo’s FuntouchOS 9.0 atop. It is fueled by a 5,000 mAh battery, that supports 18W quick-charging technology. For security, the brand equips it with a fingerprint reader on the rear. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Bluetooth v5.0, a headphone jack, and dual-SIM slots.
For photography, there is a triple camera system at the back of the Vivo U20. The setup includes a 16MP main sensor, an 8MP super-wide-angle snapper, and a 2MP macro camera. Upfront, there is a 16MP camera for selfies and video chats. Its cameras are supported by AR Stickers, AI, Super Wide Angle video mode, Slow-Mo, 4K video recording, Live Photo, Group Selfie, HDR, and more.
