Vivo S5 Specifications & Design Revealed In TENAA Listing

Ahead of its official launch on 14 November, the Vivo S5 and Vivo S5 Pro's design and specifications are listed on TENAA.

Vivo is expected to release the Vivo S5 in China on 14 November. The device appears to come with a new camera design in a diamond shape at the back and a unique gradient finish. A promotional photo was leaked yesterday revealed ultra-slim bezels and hole-punch design as well. Now, the phone passed through TENAA with model number Vivo V1932A/T and its key specs. It weighs 188gs and measures 157.9x73.92x8.64 mm. Its design is also revealed in a set of photos on TENAA, confirming the camera design and hole-punch display.
Vivo S5 specifications
As per the TENAA listing, the upcoming Vivo S5 will rock a 6.44” FHD+ AMOLED panel with an aspect ratio of 20:9. Powering the phone is listed to be a Snapdragon 712 SoC, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage (expandable with a microSD card). It will run on Android 9 Pie out of the box with Vivo’s FunTouch OS atop. On the front, there will likely be a 32MP camera for taking selfie shots.
On the imaging department, the Vivo S5 will boast a quad camera system on the rear, including a 48MP main sensor alongside 8MP + 5MP + 2MP sensors. Meanwhile, it is also available in another variant with V1932T model number and it packs a triple camera cluster. The setup comprises of 48MP + 8MP + 5MP sensors. Fueling the device is tipped to be a 4,010 mAh battery and it will support 22.5 quick charging solution.
Aside from the Vivo S5, the brand might also announce a Pro version alongside the standard model. Both of them are expected to make their debut in China on 14 November. We will keep you updated as soon as Vivo announces the duo, so stay tuned.
