Vivo S Series Smartphone To Come To India With Up To 8GB RAM & Price Tag Under Rs. 25,000

Vivo was previously reported to launch two new phone series called Vivo Z and Vivo S series in the Indian market. While Vivo already announced its V series officially last week, the Vivo S series were still in the dark at the moment. Now, we have just got some details about the specifications and price of the forthcoming Vivo S phone. A reliable source cited on 91mobiles that the Chinese company might offer the Vivo S phones in two variants. The base variant with 6GB RAM / 128GB storage is tipped to be price at under Rs. 20,000, whereas the top-end model with 8GB RAM / 128GB storage will be retailed at below Rs. 25,000 in India. Apart from the variants, the device is also expected to come with a triple camera setup at the back.
As previously reported, Vivo will not only focus on the phone’s specifications, but it will also pay attention to its style and design. In addition, the Vivo S smartphones will be launched exclusively via offline channels and compete against the Samsung Galaxy series. Not only Samsung, Vivo also aims at Realme and Xiaomi, two of which have launched their aggressive offline strategy. No more details about the forthcoming Vivo S series, but there should be more in the next couple of weeks.

Moving to the Vivo Z series, the company has already confirmed the details of the first phone in the Vivo Z lineup that is called Vivo Z1 Pro. The handset is said to come with a 6.53-inch FHD+ LCD display with a punch hole on the top of the display. It is driven by a mid-range Snapdragon 712 processor, coupled with three memory configurations — 4GB of RAM / 64GB of storage, 6GB of RAM / 64GB storage, and 6GB of RAM / 128GB storage. Software-wise, it will ship with FunTouch OS 9.0 which is based on Android 9 Pie.
On the camera front, it will boast a triple rear camera setup that includes a 16MP main camera, an 8MP shooter, and a 2MP depth sensor. There will also be a 32MP front camera for taking selfies and video calling. Finally, it will be fueled by a massive 5,000 mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging solution.
