Vivo iQOO Neo Teased With Snapdragon 845 & Triple Rear Cameras

Vivo's sub-brand iQOO is said to launch a second phone in its portfolio called iQOO Neo with a Snapdragon 845 SoC and triple rear cameras.

Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO is expected to launch its second handset dubbed iQOO Neo which is a more affordable model of the gaming-centric iQOO that launched earlier in the year. Apart from the official poster from the brand revealing the phone’s design, iQOO later posted another poster teasing the processor of the phone - Snapdragon 845.

The upcoming iQOO Neo has a similar look to the premium Vivo iQOO. It comes with a water-drop notch on top of the display and triple rear cameras that are stacked vertically. However, the LED flash on the iQOO Neo is placed in the same module with the cameras, the one on the Vivo iQOO is placed separately. You can easily spot a volume rocker and power button on its left spine; and an orange-coloured button on its left side which we assume to be used to activate Vivo’s digital assistant.

The upcoming iQOO phone will come in at least two colour variants, Black and People, with the former featuring a carbon fiber-like text at the back. Moreover, we don’t see a fingerprint reader on its back and that means the phone might be equipped with an on-screen fingerprint sensor instead. Furthermore, there will be a headphone jack and possibly a USB-C port at the bottom of the phone.

Moving to the next poster and the TENAA listing, it is revealed that the phone will measure 195.5 x 75.2 x 8.1mm and sport a 6.38-inch display. In addition, the iQOO Neo will come with a larger 4,500mAh battery compared to the 4,000mAh cell on the Vivo iQOO. However, it is unlikely that the iQOO Neo will support 44W fast charging solution.

Finally, it is also rumored to be priced at RMB 1,998 (around Rs. 20,300) for the 6GB RAM / 128GB storage variant, but we can’t confirm the credibility of the source.
