Vivo iQOO Neo Passed Through TENAA With Snapdragon 855+

It appears that Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO is developing a particular pattern, especially its Vivo Neo lineup. First, the Vivo iQOO Neo was announced with a Snapdragon 845, and the brand later released a new model with a Snapdragon 855 SoC. The new version came with a more powerful chipset and several minor upgrades, which are a bigger selfie snapper and a slightly quicker charging solution. Aside from those, the two are pretty much the same on both design and hardware configuration. Now, it seems like the phone will be coming with another upgraded version yet again. This time, it will carry the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset. 

The handset is currently known by the V1936AL model number, which is nearly the same as the V1936A model number of the iQOO Neo 855. We believe that it should arrive under the name iQOO Neo 855+. Moving to the TENAA listing, it was listed to have the same dimensions of 159.53x75.23x8.13mm and a weight of 198.5g. Most of the specifications of the device are the same as other variants. They include 8/12GB RAM, 128GB of storage, a 6.38-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED panel with an in-display fingerprint reader. It seems there won’t be a 6GB RAM / 64GB model like previous versions. 

At the back, there will still be a triple camera cluster, with a 12MP main sensor, an 8MP wide-angle camera, and a 2MP depth-sensing camera. Under the hood, it will still pack a 4,500 mAh battery, charged with the same 33W quick charging technology. So, the version is pretty much the same with a more powerful chipset. There are, in fact, even fewer changes than before. 

However, there is still a small chance that this smartphone is a special or limited edition or something like that. Anyway, since the phone hit the TENAA database, the chances are the device will be announced very soon.
