Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO is said to working its third lineup called Vivo iQOO 3. There have been several leaks and rumors about the Vivo iQOO on the Internet. The iQOO 3 and iQOO Neo 3 were spotted on several certification databases. They later made their appearance on the IMEI database. Now, a Chinese leak with the name Digital Chat Station has shared a spec sheet of the alleged Vivo iQOO, but left the exact identity of the phone under wraps.
Vivo IQOO 3: Specifications
Even though the leaker doesn’t reveal the true identity of the handset in this new leak, several specifications of this phone are the same as the Vivo iQOO 3.
The handset is listed to carry a 6.44” FHD+ display and a refresh rate of 60Hz. It will come with an OLED panel made by Samsung with a punch-hole at the upper right corner. Being a smartphone, having a 60Hz display only is quite a let down to many iQOO fans out there, considering the fact that other brands have been releasing many smartphones with a 90Hz display.
Under the hood, the Vivo iQOO 3 is tipped to pack a Snapdragon 865 SoC, which is understandable as its predecessors are already powered by Snapdragon 855 and Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC. In addition, packing the Snapdragon 865 SoC means that the device could support 5G connectivity.
Around the back, its camera setup will consist of four cameras, one of which will be a 48MP sensor. Fueling the phone could be a beefy 4,410 mAh battery with 55W fast charging support. In addition, the leaker also suggested that not all three smartphones in the Vivo iQOO 3 lineup will be a gaming-centric smartphone. This could be the reason why Vivo uses a conventional display with a 60Hz refresh rate.
As for availability, the brand might be coming to India after all as it has just trademarked three smartphone names in the country. iQOO was also said to separate it with Vivo to become an independent company and release its first 5G smartphone in India soon.
