Users Reported Battery Drain Issue On Realme 2 Pro; TouchPal Keyboard App Blamed

There are quite a few owners of the Realme 2 Pro reported the handset to have battery drain issue which Realme claimed to fix via a new update.

Smartphones of Realme have quickly become popular with its attractive combination of price and features. But obviously, with an affordable price, the Realme smartphones are not perfect. The Realme 2 Pro, currently the Realme handset that has the highest price tag, is reported to have issues relating to the battery.
As shown in the image below, there are quite a few owners of Realme 2 Pro have come to social network sites to post their complaints about their Realme 2 Pro’s battery drain issues. And the Chinese phone maker actually already acknowledged this issue. The company blamed the TouchPal keyboard app for the battery issue. It further explained that it already rolled out an update for the app, which it claims to solve the battery issue.

Interestingly, this is not the only time owners of the Realme handset has reported battery performance issues. On November, the Chinese company had rolled out an update to improve selfie camera, battery performance, and several bug fixes.
Realme already released its Realme 2 Pro in the Indian market in September 2018. The handset comes in three models --- the variant with 4GB RAM/64GB storage costs Rs. 13,990, while the prices are Rs. 15,990 and Rs. 17,990 for the models with 6GB RAM/64GB storage and 8GB RAM/128GB storage respectively.
Realme also just released a new affordable phone called Realme U1. The phone, which is claimed Selfie King, comes with a starting price of Rs. 11,999 and it was just on sale for the first time.
