The FCC has teased more about the two new ZTE handsets – the Blade A5 (2020) and Blade 20. It shared everything from the quick start guide and the phones’ photos.

First, regarding the Blade A20, the phone comes with a square camera setup, which is similar to the design of today’s flagships. Additionally, the handset also has a dewdrop notch at the top for housing a selfie camera. Unfortunately, the manual does not offer much information about the camera module.

According to the images showing the handset with no back cover, the phone is likely to have a big 5,000 mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging tech via USB Type-C port. In terms of connectivity options, the phone will feature FM radio, and a 3.5mm audio jack. And as the chip of the phone has the logo of MediaTek, we expected it is a Helio SoC.

For the Blade A5 (2020), it looks like a budget phone since it only features two rear cameras without fingerprint sensor. The user manual screenshot and real images of the phone revealed that the bezels surrounding the screen are thin except for the bottom edge. The phone’s right spine has power and volume button, while there is a microSD slot on the left.

Additionally, the handset only comes with a 3,200mAh with the maximum 5W charging tech support.

Not to mention, it will be charged through a microUSB port. At least, the phone still has FM radio and a 3.5mm audio jack.
It remains to be seen when the ZTE Blade A5 (2020) and Blade 2020 will debut although FCC certification typically appears near the release date.

To recall, the Blade A5 (2019) sports a 5.45-inch HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The phone comes with a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie camera. Under the hood is an Unisonic SC9863A SoC coupled with 2GB RAM. It runs Android 9 Pie-based Mi Flavor 9.0 and has a 2,600mAh cell.
