TENAA Grants Certification To Vivo V1928A With Triple Rear Cameras

A mysterious Vivo smartphone with V1928A model number has been recently granted the TENAA certification in China, which reveals several images and major specs of the phone. While the official information about the phone remains under wraps at present, it is tipped to sport a 6.35-inch display with Full HD+ resolution. In addition, it measures 159.43 x 76.77 x 8.99 mm and weighs 190.5g. Powering the handset is a big 4,880 mAh battery and the handset will run FunTouchOS based on Android 9 Pie at launch. In terms of imaging capabilities, the phone will feature a triple camera setup on the back and comes with a rear-aligned fingerprint sensor for biometric security. Additionally, the phone is expected to have a dewdrop notch for housing the selfie camera on the front.
Furthermore, the power and volume buttons will be put on the phone’s right side. Overall, the phone design looks like its predecessors and does not have any special feature. In terms of connectivity options, the phone has Dual SIM and 4G LTE. So far, the information about the RAM, internal storage, sensor, and chipset remains unknown at present. As the phone has surfaced on the TENAA site, it is expected that its listing will appear in the next several days. Therefore, we will no longer need to wait for a long time.
In the meantime, the new mid-range Vivo 1916 and Vivo 1918 phones were spotted on Geekbench benchmark recently. Accordingly, while the former is expected to come with a Snapdragon 710 SoC with the hole-punch design, the latter will have a Snapdragon 655 chipset. Both the handsets are tipped to run Android 9 Pie at launch. Additionally, the Vivo 1918 is probably a variant of the Vivo Z5x that was launched in May in the Chinese market.
